How to Enrol

The enrolment process is designed to support parents in making an informed and mindful decision regarding our school and their children’s education. Our dedicated team is here to assist in this process.

Do you have an enrolment enquiry? ​

Please complete the expression of interest form and our school office will be in contact with you shortly after to answer any questions you may have.

Application

Following your initial contact with the school either by phone call or through the online expression of interest form you will be invited to a school tour and meeting or interview with our Head of School or Class Teacher.

​The Enrolment Application Form will need to be completed and returned to the school prior to the meeting.

Interview

Enrolment interviews are one step in the application process and offer families an opportunity to discuss their child's needs and find out more about the school’s philosophy and educational approach.

This is also a time for the Head of School or Class Teacher to answer any questions parents may have regarding our school or Steiner education.

Enrolment

Upon the joint decision to enrol following the interview, families will be offered a place at Port Macquarie Steiner School and sent the Enrolment Agreement to finalise the enrolment.

The offer of enrolment will need to be accepted and a $200 non-refundable application fee paid, plus $600 bond (returnable within 4 weeks after the student’s last day of school, provided all school fees are up-to-date and in accordance with our Fee Schedule).

​Acceptance of an offer and payment of this fee reserves a place for your child to commence at the nominated time.

Our Fees

Enrolment Application Fee

The enrolment application fee is $200 (non-refundable) and is payable wtih the $600 bond upon accepting an enrolment. returnable within 4 weeks after the student’s last day of school, provided all school fees are up-to-date and in accordance with our Fee Schedule.

Fee Assistance

Our School has fee assistance available for all families to apply for. It is our intention that as many families as possible are able to access a Steiner education at Port Macquarie Steiner School. Please view our Fee Assistance, Discounts and Collection Policy for more information.
